Weekly Wish List and News 12/11/13

There is still time to donate toys or sponsor a family.  Toys for 0-3 yrs needed most.

If you get a family now you have until next Wed to get the gifts back and we can still get them to the social workers and out to families.  Gifts of any kind that are new (for all ages) welcome until Monday December 23 Noon.  This is a great feel good project. We have families of all sizes too so if you are interested, just contact june@thewishproject.org.

Blankets and Coats Welcome: Judy Keen Blanket the Valley Project
Comforters, quilts and heaters are very welcome. It got cold fast this year and they are going out as fast as they come in.  Warm socks and long underwear are welcome too. 
Having a New Year’s Party? 

 

One last note for a bit down the road… If you are considering hosting a  party to ring in the New Year… our next project will be
“Baby New Year”. Please consider asking your guest to bring a package of newborn/sz 1 diapers and or wipes to fill a newborn baskets that will go out to new moms in January.  I look forward to working with all of you.

Donors and volunteers are the magic that makes the wishes come true.

 
Recycling Partners:

Shoe Box Recycling extra shoes are shipped out and we get paid by the pound. 

 

You can also collect shoes at your place and help raise money for Wish. Service hours for your time. Plus- you may even get an email from the child that gets the shoes.

NECR for the Red Bin project. We now have red clothing collection bins being placed all over MA, NH and RI to help raise funds for Wish.

About Us
Our mission is to provide basic goods to help local poor families move out of homelessness permanently. We do this primarily through recycling useful things to fill wish orders placed by clients.  Find out more on our website www.thewishproject.org or call us at 978-441-9474.

Drop off donations:

Tue/Wed/Fri and Sat 9am-2pm

No appointment needed but call first if it is snowing or near a holiday.
